Nitro Coffee
Ingredients:
- 50ml of brewed espresso (or strong instant coffee)
- 200ml of milk
- Mosa cream whipper (1 unit)
- Mosa n2o cream charger (1 unit)
- 1 teaspoon of sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Coffee Base:
- Brew 50ml of espresso or prepare strong instant coffee. Allow it to cool.
- If you prefer a sweeter coffee, add 1 teaspoon of sugar and stir until dissolved. Adjust sweetness according to your preference.
- Make the Nitro Foam:
- Pour 200ml of milk into the mosa cream whipper. For richer, silkier foam, it’s best to use whole milk.
- Attach the mosa n2o charger to the cream whipper and seal it tightly. Shake the whipper gently 6-8 times to mix the nitrogen into the milk.
- Press the nozzle to dispense thick, creamy nitro foam. You’ll notice the foam has a velvety texture, similar to snow, and forms a beautiful white layer on top.
- Assemble the Drink:
- Pour the cooled espresso into a glass. If you prefer cold coffee, add some ice cubes to the glass.
- Dispense the nitro foam from the cream whipper onto the coffee, creating a thick layer of foam on top.
- Enjoy:
- Stir the drink gently with a straw or spoon to blend the nitro foam with the coffee for a smooth, creamy texture.
- For extra flair, you can sprinkle a little cocoa powder or cinnamon on top as a garnish.
Tips:
- Using mosa’s n2o charger to create the nitro foam not only makes the foam incredibly smooth but also adds a refreshing, unique twist to the coffee, as the nitrogen bubbles infuse the coffee’s bold flavors.
- If you like a stronger coffee flavor, reduce the amount of milk or use a more concentrated coffee.
- You can also experiment with adding a hint of vanilla extract or caramel syrup for extra flavor depth.
